Classification of the phrases with the diatopic mark of Peru according to three academic dictionaries for the formulation of a proposal for a phraseological corpus with the phrases used in Peru, year 2022

Abstract

This research aims to assess the classification of locutions with a diatopic marker from Peru in three academic dictionaries, with the goal of constructing a phraseological corpus that reflects the locutions used in the Peruvian context during the year 2022. The underlying hypothesis posits that the classification in academic dictionaries facilitates the formulation of said corpus. The theoretical framework is based on the discipline of Phraseology, without reference to specific authors. Methodologically, a simple descriptive approach is adopted with data collection through document analysis, using record sheets and systematization matrices. The results show that, out of the 548 locutions identified with a diatopic marker from Peru in the academic dictionaries, 49% correspond to verbal locutions. This finding contributes to a better understanding of Peruvian idiomatic expressions and provides more accurate lexicographical resources for linguistic studies and the teaching of Spanish in Spanishspeaking contexts.
