Factors associated with the nutritional status of children and adolescents of the Antonio Guillermo UrreloEducational Institution, 2020

The objective of this research was to determine the association between maternal social factors and the nutritional status of children and adolescents at the Antonio Guillermo Urrelo Educational Institution, 2020. The study corresponds to a non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive research design. correlational, developed in a sample of 117 among children and adolescents from the Antonio Guillermo Urrelo Educational Institution. 51.7% of mothers belong to the age group of 40 years and older; 31.4% of them had higher technical education, 44.9% were married and 52.5% were housewives. 34.2% of the participants were 15-year-old adolescents. 62.4% of children and adolescents showed a healthy weight; 81.4% do not consume a healthy diet and 84.7% of them only eat 3 meals a day, without consuming snacks. No significant relationship was found between maternal social factors and the nutritional status of children and adolescents.
