Abstract

The present research work was carried out in the Holstein breed milk producing stables in the countryside of the city of Cajamarca, in the Cajamarca Region - Peru. A total of 30 random samples of bovine milk were obtained from cows in production from the different dairy farms, to perform the microbiological analyzes for the isolation and identification of Escherichia coli O157: H7. Of the total of the 30 samples analyzed, none were positive for the presence of this bacterium under study.
