Results and Analysis of 60 Years of Research on Pastures and Forages in the Cajamarca Countryside

Abstract

The present work responds to the following formulation of the research problem: What are the result of research works on pastures and forages in the countryside of Cajamarca, during the period 1968 - 2018? The general objective: To compile and analyze 60 years of research on pastures and forages in the countryside of Cajamarca. The methodology used consisted of two phases: The first phase, consisted of the compilation of research work carried out by the Agricultural Faculties of the National University of Cajamarca and by the Institute of Agricultural Research and Innovation INIA. Baños del Inca Station. As well as the interview to the researchers. The second phase: Processing, analysis and evaluation of the information collected. The results indicate that a total of 209 studies were carried out, distributed according to lines of research and ecological zones: 185 studies for the valley (88.51 %); 13 studies for the hillside (6.22 %) and 11 studies for the Jalca (5.27 %). It is recommended to disseminate the results to users.
