Abstract

Objective: determine the relationship between the epidemiological profile and cervical intraepithelial lesions of women of reproductive age treated at the Simón Bolívar II-E Hospital, Cajamarca, 2017-2019. Material and methods: Non-experimental cross-sectional, descriptive, correlational research. The sample was made up of 79 nominal records of women of reproductive age with a positive cytological diagnosis of mild, moderate or severe cervical intraepithelial lesion. The technique used was survey and documentary review. The instrument used was a questionnaire with a reliability of 0.835, according to Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient. The data were analyzed in statistical tables with Chi square (p!0.05). Results: it was identified that, of the total number of women who presented a cervical intraepithelial lesion of reproductive age between 30 and 49 years of age, 46.8% presented a mild degree. The epidemiological profile was related to the degree of cervical intraepithelial lesion in women of reproductive age, obtaining that 26.6% of the women who presented CLI in a mild degree had a primary level of education. Conclusion: It was identified that there is a significant relationship between the epidemiological profile: Sociodemographic (age, marital status, occupation, level of education, family economic income, BMI); sexual and reproductive health (age of first menstruation, age of first sexual intercourse, number of sexual partners, parity, use of contraceptives) and quality of life (personal development in CACU, emotional well-being) of women of reproductive age (MER) with the degree of cervical intraepithelial lesion (CIN I – Mild, CIN II – Moderate and CIN III – Severe) (p<0.05).
