In this study, we explored the role of the family, addressing various aspects such as socio-economic and familial problems, to examine their influence on students' academic performance. We analyzed parental support and its impact, recognizing the teacher's importance as a dynamic intermediary in children's education, perceived as an authority figure and role model by a group of students. The need for patience, good treatment, and psychological support in education was emphasized. The results revealed a significant percentage of students receiving assistance and parental supervision, although another group exhibited low performance due to diverse factors such as socio-economic and familial problems, indicating that these concerns affected their academic concentration. Additionally, cases were identified where students faced no economic difficulties but lacked parental attention and encouragement to foster their interest in knowledge acquisition. In conclusion, the study underscores not only the importance of assuming an appropriate role within the family but also of consistently monitoring children to ensure their well-being and optimal cognitive development, preparing them for future educational challenges.
