Tourist vocation of the Sulluscocha Town Center for the development of rural tourism, Llacanora District – 2023

Abstract

The guiding idea of this writing is to know the tourist qualities of the Sulluscocha Population Center for the development of rural tourism, Llacanora district - 2023. The dimensions of this study have been the description and registration of the tourist resources of the Sulluscocha Population Center, to identify the support infrastructure that the Sulluscocha Population Center presents to promote rural tourism and to determine the vocation characteristics that the local community presents for the development of rural tourism. The inductive-deductive method and the analytical-synthetic method were used. The main result was that the tourist resource with the best condition is the Sulluscocha lagoon, which is registered in the category of natural sites and bodies of water type, this according to the Tourist Resources Inventory Manual of Peru. Of the localities near this population center, Namora presents better infrastructure qualities to be its support center and that the local population presents a favorable vocation to develop rural tourism. These three conditions allow us to recognize that the geographic space of the populated center would favor the tourist activity that requires coordinated work between public and private institutions for efficient management and thus contribute to the diversification of the district's tourist offer.
